lust have it! April Review & Coupon Code

I feel like I'm inadvertently making a habit of starting off every post I write with an apology for my prolonged absences- I promise I'm trying to get back into my blogging schedule! Anyway, my crazy university life aside, I came home today to find a package from lust have it! waiting for me at my doorstep.

lust have it! is another beauty subscription service which retails for $19.95 a month. I believe they have 3 boxes to choose from, but the one I've got to share with you is the women's beauty box which comes with 5-6 deluxe beauty products. As well as kindly providing me with April'x box to review for you, lust have it! has also provided me with a coupon code to share with you guys to save a little bit of money off your first box, so stay tuned for that if you think this is something you'd be interested in!

First and foremost, I need to have a little rave about the packaging the products come in. As much as I love using cardboard boxes for extra storage, I'm a huge fan of getting a reusable bag. In my opinion, it's a very practical option. The bag is actually quite roomy, and it's plastic which means I can see exactly what I've got in there and I won't have a heart attack if I have to clean up any spillages or powder explosions.

1. Glamourflage Jane Gem Face Primer ($22.95/8.5ml)- the thing I find really intriguing about this product is the applicator. I've only ever seen primers that come in squeeze tubes or pumps, but this one has a brush that's similar to a nail polish applicator. I can't see that brush being practical if you're going to be applying it as your base since it's so tiny, and the bristles seem to fray a little inside the tube because of the texture of the liquid. It made the skin feel super smooth when I applied it to the back of my hand, so I'm excited to see how it goes on the face.

2. Claytime 100% Pure Mineral Bronzer ($29.95/10g)- I've totally been getting into mineral products lately, especially from smaller companies so I'm excited to try this out. I'd describe the shade as a warm, medium brown with fine gold glitters. I'm not too fussed on wearing glitter on my face, but it doesn't seem to show up majorly when swatched. It came off quite sheer, but the texture was quite nice so I imagine you could easily build up to get the opacity you were after. I definitely won't be using this for contouring, but I can see it looking lovely to give a bit of glow to the skin in winter time.

3. Bioderma Atoderm Cream ($29.95/200ml)- I've been itching to try more products from Bioderma since I've completely fallen in love with their micellar solution. This is recommended as a daily moisturiser for dry to very dry skin, which isn't my skin type. However, leading into winter I'm sure that extra hydration won't go amiss so I'm super keen to try it out.

4. WotNot Facial Wipes for Oily/Sensitive Skin ($7.95/25 wipes)- I've tried these wipes before, and I have to say that I do prefer these over the ones that contain aloe vera. Nothing especially ground breaking, but they're a great little package to throw in your bag.

5. Aveeno Daily Moisturiser Lotion ($9.99/225ml)- I haven't actually tried anything from Aveeno before, so I'm excited to see how this moisturiser goes given how attached I've become to my Vaseline one.

The approximate value of the box I received is $58.00, although I'm assuming this fluctuates with each given month. From what I can tell, the value seems to be pretty on par with what I've gotten in other beauty subscriptions.
I've also been given a coupon code to share with you guys if you're interested in becoming a subscriber to lust have it!. You can use the coupon code LOVEABELLE to save $5.00 off your first month.

So that's a wrap as far as my review is concerned, but I'd love to know what you guys think if you're already a subscriber- let me know what you received last months and if you've got any favourites!
