Festive Fashion Ideas

Earlier this year, I was invited by Chairish to make a mood board of my ideal home bar. I had so much fun that when they asked me to create holiday fashion style boards with their new range of jewelry and accessories, I couldn't resist! Chairish is an online marketplace that primarily sells vintage items, which doesn't sound too special, but what's great about the website is that the products are exclusively curator approved. Unfortunately for us Australians, there's no international shipping at this time- but say hello to some pretty eye candy!

Christmas lunch at my house is generally a pretty casual affair. Australian summer weather usually dictates my fashion choices during the day, so I doubt the cheesy jumper would last more than a few hours, but I'd be willing to tough it out for a few photos first! When your baby cousins come around, the last thing you want to have is anything dangly on your person getting into those grabby hands, so I chose some child friendly accessories for this one. They're also perfect for going to spend some time outdoors.

There is nothing I love more than an excuse to get dressed up for a night out. Christmas is a great excuse to channel my inner magpie and deck myself out in sparkle. And inevitably more sparkle. Of course I opted for sandals, which are a more feasible option for dancing the night away. The idea of a super simple outfit teamed with statement jewelry really appeals to me, but I opted against any additional pieces so it's not too busy. Clear clutches appear to have been right on trend the past few months, so I'd suggest popping your belongings in a purse first if you want to maintain privacy!

To be honest, I don't even know what I'll be wearing this holiday season- but I figure that looking through a ton of photos while putting these style boards together has been quite helpful. Let me know what you'll be wearing during this year's festivities- and thanks to Chairish for inviting me to take part in this challenge!
