Colourpop Cosmetics Haul

I have been itching to try Colourpop for the longest time after seeing all the love the company has been getting online. When they recently began shipping to Australia and New Zealand, I immediately bought everything on the site that was within a ten click radius. And so began three weeks of aggressively stalking the progress of my package (I swear I have better things to do!), but the wait was worth it.

Lippie Pencils in Button, Lumiere, Bound, Brink, Easy, BFF 2, Frenchie, Flawless, Bichette, Ellarie, Dalia, Creature
Okay so maybe ordering 12 lip pencils was a little bit excessive, but in my defence, there were a lot more of these babies before I edited my cart prior to check out. Crisis averted? Maybe.
 Lippie Stix Primer
I can't say I've ever tried a lip primer before, so I was excited to say this baby in my order. It's supposed to enhance the wear of your Colourpop lippies and make their application easier by filling in any lip texture issues.
Forget the Fruit Cake Lippie Stix set (Cookie, Tuxedo, Confetti, Cheers, Lady, Tutu)
The thing I love about Colourpop is that each Lippie Pencil has a coordinating Lippie Stix which makes life so much easier. However, we all know I have a ridiculously hard time turning down the opportunity to buy a whole ton of lip products, so I decided to grab a set to minimise the damage to my bank account.
Shaanxo x Colourpop (XO, Selfie, Deluxe, Rebel)
I love the earthy tones in this set. I wouldn't say I'm particularly fond of greens, but I'm hoping that the shade Rebel is going to be a game changer in that department.
Megan Naik x Colourpop (Onai, Lectra, Amira, Farah)
Not gonna lie, the shade Lectra is the main reason I picked up this set- it's the gorgeous burgundy colour in the bottom right. That colour has been to die for ever since Pantone pegged marsala as the colour of the year. Also, can we talk about that beautiful glitterbomb in the top left? Yes please.
Queen For A Day (Shameless/Bae, Smash, Sequin, Girly)
I fell in love with the neutral, rose gold-ish colours in this set, but that little duo of Shameless/Bae is absolutely killer. And hello, rose gold glitter? What's not to love?
Supershock Eyeshadows in Hustle & Ibiza
Following the marsala trend, I loved the look of Hustle and I became an even bigger fan because of its matte finish. I actually did a look pairing it with Lectra the other day, and it definitely warrants a repeat in my book. Ibiza is usually a colour that would send me running in the other direction, but I love the idea of using it on the lower lash line as a bright pop of colour.

That concludes my rather large Colourpop haul- I feel a bit like a kid in a candy shop at the moment trying them all out. I'm already half in love, so a swatchfest or review post may be in order. Have you tried Colourpop before? What are your favourites?

  1. What do you think of the lippie primer? I'm still debating whether I need to get one or not :(

  2. I like the lippie primer, especially if I've been too lazy to exfoliate or forgotten to give my lip balm long enough to sink in. It makes application a lot easier and it doesn't mess with whatever colour you put on top of it. Having said that though, I think prepping your lips beforehand and using a lipliner has essentially the same effect x
